Marketing Assistant

About the Role: The Marketing Assistant II supports both individual Financial Advisor practices and broader branch marketing initiatives through content creation, digital marketing, and multimedia production. This role works closely with Financial Advisors, Baird Retirement Management leadership, branch leadership and other associates to plan the execution of professional marketing content that strengthens advisor practices, promotes the Baird Retirement Management brand, and enhances client engagement, while adhering to firm standards and compliance requirements. The Impact You’ll Make: Partner with Baird’s Corporate Resource Groups and be knowledgeable of the products and services that are available to provide the best service and advice to our clients Support individual Financial Advisors with customized marketing and content aligned to their practice goals and client base Direct and coach Financial Advisors during filming to ensure appropriate professional, clear, and audience messaging Produce and edit podcast content, including audio setup and post-production Film and edit video content for advisor branding, client education, and digital distribution Create social media posts and short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, and other approved platforms Support digital marketing efforts, including digital advertising and campaign execution Capture basic photography for advisor profiles, branch marketing, and content needs Assist with planning advisor-specific and branch-wide content calendars Learn and apply Baird Retirement Management brand standards, messaging priorities, and compliance guidelines Participate in in-person content planning and production sessions as needed What You’ll Bring to Baird: Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or multimedia production Experience with podcast production, basic sound engineering, and video editing Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing Basic photography skills preferred Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills Experience supporting professional services, financial services, or a regulated industry is a plus Ability and willingness to learn client demographics and tailor messaging appropriately is essential Strong organizational skills - consistent ability to prioritize workflow of self and Financial Advisors to achieve specific goals in a timely manner Understands compliance regulations including the client complaint process and correspondence policies Maintains client confidentiality in all situations #LI-PWM4 Baird is committed to diversity and provides employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, citizenship, national origin, age, disability, military service, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, or any other status protected by law.
