We are seeking a Staff Embedded Software Engineer who can contribute across both software and firmware development on Embedded Linux platform. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing embedded firmware and applications for HVAC control products. Key
Responsibilities
As a (specify role), she or he will be responsible for: · Product embedded software design and coding by C/C++ language · Work with global software team on global Agile software development process and CI/CD DevOps) implementation · Conduct unit testing (GTEST or other relevant frameworks) · Collaborate with a global software team to implement DevOps practices, employing Docker, Conan, CMake, and SonarQube · Partner with system and cross-functional teams to comprehend and define software requirements specifications (SSRD and SRS) · Collaborate with control algorithm and QA engineers to integrate software, resolve issues, and facilitate releases · Provide service and maintenance support in laboratory, factory, and field environments · Give technical guidance or mentor to other team members
Requirements
People who are interested in this position should meet the following requirements. As a minimum must have: · Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Computer or related majors · >5 years work experience on embedded software development · Able to utilize Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles and the C++ programming language to develop control services and algorithms for Linux controller device ·
Experience
