Job Summary
** The Area Sales Officer at Piramal Pharma Limited will be responsible for driving sales growth and market share within a designated geographical area. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets for Piramal Pharma's product portfolio.
Job Responsibilities
** * Achieve assigned sales targets for a specific product range and territory, contributing to overall regional and national sales objectives. * Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to increase product awareness, penetration, and sales volume among healthcare professionals (doctors, pharmacists, hospitals). * Conduct regular market visits to meet with existing and potential customers, build strong relationships, and understand their needs. * Educate healthcare professionals on the features, benefits, and proper usage of Piramal Pharma products through presentations and product detailing. * Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats, reporting findings to the sales management team. * Manage and resolve customer queries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally. * Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market information using the company's CRM system. * Collaborate effectively with marketing, medical, and distribution teams to ensure seamless product availability and promotional support. * Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and product launches as required. * Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Job Qualifications
** * Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field. * 1-3 years of proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a similar role. * Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, product knowledge, and therapeutic areas relevant to Piramal Pharma's portfolio. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. * Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. * Results-oriented with a strong track record of achieving sales targets. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
