Business Performance Manager, ISO Excellence

Job Summary
The Business Performance Manager – ISO Excellence is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for improving the financial and operational performance of independent store partners. This role analyzes partner-level sales, margin, pricing, inventory, and program data to identify performance improvement opportunities and collaborates with ISO principals and internal cross-functional teams to develop and support implementation of practical, data-driven solutions. Success in this role depends on financial acumen, structured problem-solving, and the ability to influence adoption across independently owned businesses.
Responsibilities
Performance Analysis: Analyze sales, margin, pricing, rebate, and inventory performance data at the ISO, customer and market level. Identify areas for improvement with margin, pricing, rebate, inventory, and underperforming programs. Assess profitability trends and highlight risk or growth opportunities. Develop recurring reports and dashboards to monitor key performance metrics. Pricing & Margin Optimization Evaluate pricing realization and execution trends. Identify opportunities for pricing adjustments or structural pricing improvements. Partner with Sales and Finance to model financial impact scenarios. Support execution of approved pricing actions and monitor post-implementation results. Program & Initiative Effectiveness Assess performance of promotions, rebates, and growth programs. Quantify program ROI and identify underperforming initiatives. Recommend adjustments to improve effectiveness and financial return. Track and report measurable financial impact of optimization efforts. Operational and Inventory Optimization Analyze inventory productivity, order patterns, and tool utilization trends. Identify opportunities to improve inventory turns and reduce aged or excess inventory. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations to support recommended improvements. Promote adoption of reporting tools and operational best practices across ISO locations. KPI Tracking & Performance Monitoring Establish baseline performance metrics for assigned partners or regions. Develop and maintain scorecards for key KPIs (margin %, pricing realization, inventory turns, program ROI, etc.). Provide regular performance insights and recommendations to ISO leadership. Monitor progress against agreed action plans and escalate material risks or performance gaps as needed. Cross-Functional Collaboration Facilitate working sessions with ISO partners and internal stakeholders to review performance data and align on action plans. Coordinate with Finance, Sales, Pricing, Inventory, Supply Chain, and Operations to support implementation of approved initiatives. Follow up on initiative progress and document measurable outcomes. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Profitability expansion (including sales, margin expansion, operational effectiveness, etc.) across supported ISO partners Improvement in pricing realization and margin consistency Program ROI improvement and participation effectiveness Inventory productivity improvement (turns, aged inventory reduction) Adoption and utilization of enterprise reporting tools Measurable financial impact of optimization initiatives
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. 5–7 years of experience in operations, pricing, finance, analytics, or business performance role Highly proficient in CRM software pipeline management and MS Office Suite. Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
Experience
working with cross-functional teams. Ability to translate data into clear, actionable steps
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
in distribution or multi-location business environments. Exposure to pricing analysis, margin management, or profitability reporting.
