Qualifications
Previous experience working with youth in educational, camp, or mentorship settings. Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups of students. Demonstrated leadership, patience, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a dynamic program environment. Commitment to upholding the mission and values of the Camp Launch Mentorship Program. Salary is $17 per hour. Conditions of Employment: This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position may require overtime including scheduled and unscheduled, nights and weekends, and or holidays. All hourly employees are subject to the limitations of the Virginia Manpower Control Program and total hours worked may not exceed, on average, 29 hours per week, over the course of a twelve month period beginning May 1 each year. Time Commitment: • Must be available for the full program year: December 2025 – May 2026. • Expected time commitment: 20–25 hours per month. Additional Job Description: Job Profile: JP0320 -
