Senior Executive, Warehousing & Transportation
Job description
Key Responsibilities Plan and schedule daily transportation activities and delivery routes. Coordinate vehicle allocation based on shipment priorities and capacity. Monitor dispatch operations and ensure on-time deliveries. Optimize transportation costs, route efficiency, and fleet utilization. Liaise with transport vendors, drivers, warehouses, and internal teams. Track shipments and resolve transportation-related issues promptly. Maintain transportation records, MIS reports, and logistics documentation. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, transportation laws, and company policies. Analyze logistics performance metrics and suggest process improvements. Handle emergency transportation adjustments and escalation management. Plan in- or/and outbound transport taking into account transport regulation; Combine orders to achieve efficient transportation. Manage unforeseen incidents in the transportation planning process. Other Tasks Route optimization Vendor performance tracking Transportation MIS dashboard Fleet utilization Delivery turnaround time reduction initiative. GPS tracking and shipment visibility Cost-saving analysis for transportation operations. Process standardization for dispatch and documentation workflows. Working Conditions Flexible working hours based on operational requirements. Saturday working applicable. Ability to coordinate during peak shipment periods and urgent dispatch requirements. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
