Your Role &

Responsibilities

Receives and prepares incoming and outgoing dry bulk products by performing the following duties. Prior to unloading and/or bagging product, review all paperwork to ensure that the product being unloaded or loaded matches the documentation. Inspect all packaging materials inside and out prior to filling. Obtain laboratory approval for all raw materials delivered to the plant prior to packaging product. Ensure that applicable products meet all quality standards and have been approved by the lab prior to packaging. Properly mark, label and fill bags, supersacks and packages in accordance with Brenntag’s Standard Operating Procedures. Maintain inventory of packaging supplies. Perform dry blending operator duties as needed. Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout the facility. Observe, follow and enforce all Brenntag Policies and Procedures. Attend all required training when scheduled unless absent from work. Other responsibilities as assigned. This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Your Profile

Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently. Forklift certification required. Possess knowledge to operate scales, conveyor belts and bagging unit. Must meet PFT requirements to wear a respirator. Cannot have any facial hair that may interfere with a respirator. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Ability to ready, comprehend and carry out detailed and simple instructions and write simple correspondence. Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
