About the Role The Safety Specialist will drive the overall Risk Environment Safety & Health Management System in plant, across all the sections, coordinating with team members and providing guidance to facilitate the RESH I Care journey to ensure safe operations. This role focus will be on continuous improvement through hazard identification, incident prevention strategies, and best-practice methodologies. The Safety Specialist will help build a strong safety culture by driving hazard elimination, root-cause problem solving, and capability development at the line level. Additionally, the role contributes to achieving the plant’s CBN targets and organizational RESH goals, supports implementation of systems and standards (roadmap for RESH Standard), and may serve as a resource for projects and other plant improvements . What You Will Do Is a Role Model for RESH leadership. Communicates the RESH CBN and OGMS to the plant. Actively participate to Site & organizational level meetings. Leads RESH Incident Investigation. Leads RESH initiatives reapplication through plants network. Accountable for the Department Budget, Identify CAPEX needs to support midterm plans and Ensure Compliance to the budget. Drive the RESH Standard in the overall Plant by creating the ownerships. Educating & guiding the teams/members during the implementation. Drive the incident reporting in the plant and ensure the closures. Compliance to the Regulatory requirements related to RESH and co-ordinate with the concern regulatory bodies. Support the Culture building drive with use of different methods and engagement programs in the RESH (I-CARE program). Responsible for defining, documenting and deployment of the Systems applicable to RESH. Develop response teams and ensure the preparedness for the emergencies and crisis. Support in the Environmental Management Programs & Drive Global Environmental Sustainability initiatives in the site implementations. 5 Areas of Consciousness (Safety, Quality, Cost, problem solving and Improvement). Lead the development of goals/Quality, cost and Safety targets and an action plan to achieve them, a scorecard to tracking progress, and a review process to assess progress and adjust for gaps.( Lead Analysis). Use ERICPD in the analysis. Ensure the data monitoring & reporting to the required stake holders (including plant, global and regulatory bodies). Own an Area in the plant and maintain 5s standards for the same. Compliance to the ISO 13485, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 & SMETA Who You Are Bachelor's degree in engineering or Masters in science 3+ years of experience in manufacturing unit Strong written and verbal communication skills in internal settings.
