Position Summary As a WTR Technician for our 24/7 Operations team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining assigned ultrapure water and Industrial Wastewater systems including but not limited to: Multi Media Filters, Reverse Osmosis, Ion Exchange, Ultrafiltration, Acid Waste Water, Copper Waste Water, and Fluoride Wastewater systems in such manner as to ensure uninterrupted supply of UPW to the Fab, and reliable treatment of industrial wastewater to meet strict environmental compliance regulations. Role and Responsibilities Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For: Monitoring Equipment/Process: Monitors equipment and systems in current state and proactively looks for ways to improve system reliability. Monitors the work of others in area of responsibilities to mitigate impacts to equipment operation, system quality and operational reliability. Perform equipment rounds and readings: Able to access all areas of the UPW and IWT systems including but not limited to: Equipment rooms, Chemical areas including containment bays, IWT catwalks, and cleanroom manufacturing areas. Perform Operational Maintenance: Perform Ion Exchange regenerations, RO cleans and consumable replacements per SOP. With engineering and senior/master technician guidance, uses process knowledge and experience to adjust to field conditions, as necessary. Skills and Qualifications Here's what you'll need: 2 years of college/technical school or equivalent related experience. Typically 2 years of related experience. Semiconductor or high volume manufacturing experience preferred. Understanding of Ultrapure Water and Industrial Waste Water treatment processes. Must have strong multivariable analytical skills. Knowledge of industrial practices of Water Treatment and Purification systems. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Knowledge of basic record keeping techniques. Ability to work shifts. Meet schedules and time lines. Skilled in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Flexible, Adaptable and team oriented.
