Position: Construction Estimator (Electrical / Multi-Trade)
Level: Mid to Senior (3–10+ years)
Location: Remote
Schedule: Full-time | US Pacific Time
Compensation: $1,500–$2,500 USD/month
Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial and government construction projects.
- Review architectural and engineering drawings to develop accurate estimates.
- Identify missing information and document assumptions when plans are incomplete.
- Prepare bids for projects ranging from $500K–$5.5M.
- Coordinate with senior estimators to refine pricing and methodology.
- Utilize estimating software and AI tools to improve efficiency.
- Support fast-paced bid submissions while maintaining accuracy.
Experience
- 3+ years of US construction estimating experience
- Civil Engineering degree or equivalent construction/trade background
- Experience estimating commercial or government projects preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong blueprint reading and quantity takeoff skills
- Experience with construction estimating software
- Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity
