Job Summary
GCC Vadodara campus seeks to hire Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) / LCA Analyst who can contribute to the growth of Xylem's Global Capability Center and its expansion into sustainable technology and business solutions. Responsibilities
Support Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies through data collection, modeling, and analysis. Collect, organize, and maintain product, manufacturing, and environmental data. Assist in preparing LCA reports, Product Sustainability Reports (PSRs) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). Work with cross-functional teams to gather products and process information. Learn and use LCA software tools such as SimaPro or equivalent. Ensure data accuracy, documentation and compliance with internal quality standards. Stay updated on sustainability standards, LCA methodologies and industry best practices Required
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Environmental, Chemical, Industrial, Production Engineering or a related discipline. 0–1 year of experience (Freshers are encouraged to apply). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Eagerness to learn sustainability concepts and environmental assessment tools. Preferred Skills: Basic understanding of sustainability, carbon footprint or Life Cycle Assessment concepts. Familiarity with ISO 14040/14044 or Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) is an advantage. Exposure to LCA software (SimaPro, GaBi, OpenLCA, or One Click LCA) through academic projects or internships is desirable. Knowledge of product design and development. Knowledge of manufacturing industry process. Adaptability to work with different work cultures and time zones. What You’ll Gain: Hands-on experience in industrial Life Cycle Assessment.
