Job Summary
PPL Pharma Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Execution Engineer to lead and oversee the successful implementation of engineering projects within our pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead the execution phase of complex engineering projects from design finalization through commissioning and qualification, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets. * Coordinate and manage internal engineering teams, external contractors, and vendors, fostering effective communication and collaboration to achieve project objectives. * Develop and implement detailed project execution plans, including risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and quality control measures. * Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and proactively implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. * Ensure all project activities comply with PPL Pharma Inc. internal policies, industry best practices, cGMP regulations, and relevant health, safety, and environmental standards. * Oversee the procurement, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and systems, ensuring proper integration with existing infrastructure. * Conduct thorough reviews of engineering designs, specifications, and vendor documentation to ensure technical accuracy and compliance. * Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members. * Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to project execution processes and methodologies.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. * Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in engineering project execution within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. * Demonstrated experience leading and managing complex capital projects from inception to completion. * Strong understanding of cGMP regulations, FDA guidelines, and other relevant industry standards (e.g., ISPE, ASTM). * Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP certification is a plus). * Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively. * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across various departments and external stakeholders. * Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail. *
Experience
with process equipment, utilities, HVAC systems, and automation in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
