Responsibilities
Maintain Safety record within acceptable goals. Effective employee/supervisor involvement. Effective inter department and shift communications. On time service to internal departments. Maintain department in line with budget goals. Delegate work assignments to optimize efficiency, drive continuous improvement. Investigate material flow concerns to keep receiving/45 warehouse flowing. DRP between local warehouses, system maintainence. Work in compliance with union contract and shop rules, administer discipline as required. Ensure compliance to work instructions and customer requirements. Develop and maintain a flexible, well-trained work force. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Promote union and company relations to maintain high level of Morale. Process receipts, inventory control, and adjustments with dept/division staff. Order/acquire necessary tools and equipment for safe and productive operation. Work with computer systems and production reports. Verify payroll, vacation, and productivity reports. Maintain operation of Foreign Trade Zone logistics process in receiving area. Excellent communication skills. Computer skills: Microsoft products and ERP/MRP system experience (preferred). Team Leader or Supervisor in Union environment. Warehouse/material flow experience. Minimum of Associates degree in Logistics, business, or related field or equivalent total experience.
