Job description

Role Summary Delivers end-to-end payroll services for complex countries or employee populations while serving as a subject matter expert for payroll operations. Ensures payroll accuracy, compliance, and service excellence by resolving complex payroll issues, mentoring team members, leading operational initiatives, and driving continuous improvement across the Managed Services organization. Job Description Independently execute end-to-end payroll processes for complex countries or employee populations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Review and validate payroll calculations, statutory deductions, and payroll outputs before payroll finalization. Act as the primary technical expert and first point of escalation for complex payroll issues. Investigate payroll discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions. Partner with third-party payroll providers to resolve complex operational and compliance matters. Review the quality and accuracy of payroll work completed by team members, providing feedback and recommendations where appropriate. Lead payroll process improvements, standardization initiatives, and operational excellence activities. Support the Payroll Manager with workload planning, knowledge sharing, onboarding, and training activities. Collaborate with HR, Finance, Time & Attendance, Benefits, and business leaders to resolve cross-functional payroll issues. Identify operational risks and recommend actions to improve payroll quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Experience Advanced knowledge of payroll operations, payroll legislation, tax, social security, and compliance requirements. Strong understanding of payroll systems, HRIS, and Time & Attendance solutions. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 5–7 years of payroll experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
