Member Engagement Marketing & Communications Specialist
Job description
The Opportunity: This position will provide develop and implement client benefits communication strategies including creation of customized member engagement materials that our clients utilize to educate their employees about their benefit programs. In This Role You Will Execute On: Develop robust employee engagement campaigns that drive utilization and education. Implement client approved plans including open enrollment education, health and wellbeing program promotion and education on benefit program tools and resources. Create engaging content for a broad range of communications channels such as email, client portals, presentations, flyers, and mail-to-home materials. Develop material and resources that aid employee understanding of their benefits by translating insurance technical information into everyday language. Collaborate with clients and Hylant service team to analyze employee communication effectiveness and propose new ideas to initiate improved member engagement. Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate client benefit data analytics; identify potential education opportunities based on utilization patterns; recommend engagement solutions to client and implement approved solutions. Collaborate with corporate marketing and sales teams to assist with preparation of Request For Proposal responses. Liaise with outside vendors and oversee completion of special projects such as bulk printing, language translation, etc. Perform other duties and special projects as requested. In This Role You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or similar field OR equivalent combination of education and experience required. Proficiency in Canva (or similar design tools) for creating visually compelling materials Strong eye for layout, branding, and visual storytelling Ability to design engaging assets such as: Employee communications Digital campaigns Flyers, guides, presentations, and toolkits Demonstrated ability to think creatively and bring fresh, innovative ideas to engagement campaigns Three (3) or more years relevant work experience Out-of-the-box thinker who challenges traditional approaches to employee communication Highly creative with a balance of strategic thinking and execution Curious and proactive in identifying new ways to improve engagement and participation Ability to adapt quickly and tailor approaches for different client audiences Project management skills with ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines and work efficiently in fast-paced environments Strong Microsoft product knowledge, particularly PowerPoint and Word Experience with copywriting and editing Insurance industry experience is preferred, but not required Ability to obtain Life and Health license within 100 days Why Hylant?
