The Financial Planning & Analysis Sr. Manager is a strategic finance leader responsible for overseeing financial planning, forecasting, cash flow, and operating plan performance for Goodyear Commercial Services and the El Salto Plant. Reporting directly to the Finance Director Mexico, this role leads financial analysis, business performance reviews, and key finance initiatives that support operational and strategic decision-making. The position partners closely with cross-functional teams, consolidates financial results, and provides insights to drive profitability and cash flow improvements. Based in Mexico City, this role has significant visibility and influence across both commercial and manufacturing finance operations. Why This Role Matters Key Finance business partner and right hand to the Finance Director, leading forecasting, P&L, cost of sales, free cash flow, and plant cost analysis. Owns the Monthly Operating Review (MOR) and provides financial insights, variance analysis, and recommendations to drive business performance. Partners closely with Accounting, Pricing, and Credit teams to explain results, justify financial decisions, and support strategic planning. High-visibility role with regular exposure to executive leadership, influencing decision-making and serving as a trusted finance leader. What you'll do Prepare, analyze and provide financial information, financial forecast - long and short term, business decision support, monitor and analyze EBIT WC EXPENSE performance. Coordinate forecast processes, annual budgets, regional requirements, monthly Business Analysis preparation, corporate requirements (EBIT/OCF) and as required Sales Analytics Review for supporting pricing decisions. Work with the owners' areas to receive the information and analyzes: Trade AP, Trade AR and Inventory (WC impacts) and other lines of OCF impact. CAPEX information of SAG for the three entities (Consolidation). Identify solutions and challenge other areas to maximize Ebit, cash efficiency and increase cash flow. Support Finance Director in Flash Results (weekly results), MOR consolidation (GCS and El Salto Plant) and Actuals and Forecast consolidation Cogs, SAG and DC. Manage strategic business growth projects, providing financial strategies and support. Manage Revenue & Pricing strategies, including the definition of local Commercial Policies, price & incentives strategies and special sales offers. Ensure alignment with Goodyear strategy. Confirm internal policies are followed and executed accordingly. Manage and Lead process improvement projects including overall FP&A (Sales & Manufacturing Organization) and Pricing systems and processes. Support Plant Director with information about cost and projects. Provide on time information to Plant Management and Staff personnel to take decision and proper short/long term planning by the Finance Business Partner in El Salto. Drive Strategic Initiatives for Commercial Services . What We’re Looking For A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, preferably with a concentration in business administration, engineering, economics or accounting. Advanced English. More than 10 years of finance management experience with at least 5 years in financial planning ideally in a large, global, manufacturing enterprise. Deep knowledge of Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow) Experience managing Commercial Policies and Pricing Strategies Strong financial analysis background. Strong communication and analytical skills. Strategic thinking. Ability to manage conflict and influence others. Strong Leadership and Team management skills. Knowledge of Cost Accounting, general Accounting -desired General knowledge of Information Technology including MS Excel, Hyperion and Essbase skills is desired. Post-graduate in Business, Statistics, Economics or similar-desired. Experience in tire or automative or tire industry is desired.
