In this vital role you will be primarily focused on leading New Product Introductions (NPI) and manufacturing operation execution into external manufacturing and supplier sites as well as advancing business process development and digital integration. This individual will report to a Senior Manager in the Network Strategy & Resilience team. Specific responsibilities include: Lead complex new product introduction technology transfer activities for new launches or programs tech transferring into CDMOs or suppliers by coordinating execution of cross functional workstreams. Coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to business processes, and overseeing multiple complex projects. Build and maintain project plans and team assignments using project planning tools, estimating project cost and adhering to budget, identifying resource needs, performing project reviews, and escalating functional, quality, timeline and cost issues appropriately. Utilize project management processes, software and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations. Develop, implement, and deploy digital tools and dashboards using software such as Smartsheet and Power BI to support project management and communication to cross functional teams and leadership Handle communication with all areas of the enterprise that impact scope, budget, risk and resources of the work being managed and provide project updates and reporting to executive leadership and internal partners and provide escalation to the right level. Ensure accuracy and completion of data entries and/or tasks for budget development, monitoring, and reporting; contract inputs and requirements, confidentiality disclosure agreement(s), scope of work agreement(s), request for pricing/information, supply agreement(s) etc. Own Deviations (Major/Minor). Maintain and monitor systems to ensure all deviations received are appropriately investigated and concluded per the company's quality standards and procedures. Optimise deviations management, corrective and preventive actions effectiveness to prevent reoccurring events. Own SICAR, CAPA, CAPA EV and more complex change control records. Report contract site performance metrics to site lead, identify improvement opportunities for site performance, continuous improvement and standardization of performance tools used by the Work Center Teams (WCT) Oversight and reporting of procurement/payment of invoices Lead continuous improvement projects that deliver measurable gain in quality, efficiency and alignment within Amgen priorities. Qualifications

Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 2 years of Operations experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Operations experience OR Associate’s degree and 8 years of Operations experience OR High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Operations experience

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated matrix management and influencing skills. Strong organisational and cross-functional project management skills. Strong technical background with understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, commercialisation, and cGMP knowledge / experience. Demonstrated negotiation skills, accountability to deliver results and meet deadlines while handling contending priorities Strong project management skills. Operational Excellence proficiency and ability to drive continuous improvement. Financial/budgeting knowledge and business acumen. Problem-solving and critical thinking and decision-making skills. Understanding of contractual requirements. Technical writing and multi-level communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead effectively in collaborative/team environment. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, drive action, and work under minimum supervision. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
