Job Summary
Provides business support services and assistance requiring occasional discretion and judgment. Coordinates a unique set of processes, projects, and/or services for an assigned area. Principal
Responsibilities
Provides administrative and/or customer support in assigned area. This may include performing business support functions and related administrative tasks to support programs, research requests, projects, and analyzing data points or processes. Reviews and/or audits documents, forms or data for appropriateness/accuracy. Initiates additional corrective action, as appropriate. May corresponds with internal and/or external customers, using defined corporate formats and procedures, via verbal, electronic and written communications. Maintains records and/or files for assigned area. May also need to ensure appropriate documentation is timely and accurately entered into departmental records as required. As assigned, prepares, collates, and distributes various reports in a timely and accurate manner. May support or handle recurring department projects or one-time projects, as directed by supervisor. May maintain supply inventories by checking supplies to determine inventory level, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders and verifying receipt. Other duties as assigned. Job Level Specifications: Acquired and applies working knowledge of the organization, job, practices and procedures to be proficient in all aspects of job. Performs functions semi-routine in nature and recognizes the need for occasional alternative solutions. Work is performed independently, with minimal supervision. Able to establish priorities and manage time to complete work. Collaboration with other departments or teams may be required to perform role. May frequently respond to requests from others, internally or externally. Impact of decisions may affect the department. Errors may result in loss of time, resources and/or customer satisfaction. Typically requires a minimum of two years of related experience.
Education
