Secondary Distribution Warehouse Coordinator (Fixed-Term Contract)
Job description
We are looking for a Secondary Distribution Warehouse Coordinator to join our Logistics team on a 12-month fixed-term contract for maternity cover. This position is based at our Legnano (Milan) office and offers the opportunity to develop skills in logistics and warehouse management while coordinating a network of external warehouses located across Northern Italy. The successful candidate will work closely with logistics service providers to ensure high standards of safety, quality, service, and operational efficiency. What You Will Do Support the supervision of the daily activities of warehouse providers, including shipments, quality, productivity, and space management. Monitor service provider performance through KPI tracking and reporting. Support the management of day-to-day operational issues, ensuring service continuity. Participate in regular reviews with logistics providers to analyze performance and define improvement actions. Collaborate in assessing manpower, space, and equipment requirements. Support activities related to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Assist in the management of operational incidents and the monitoring of corrective actions. Promote and support the company's culture of health, safety, and sustainability. Who You Are Degree in Logistics, Economics, Engineering, or another technical discipline, or equivalent work experience Minimum professional experience (1–3 years) Candidates with experience in logistics, customer service, customer operations, or similar environments, involving operational process management and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, will be positively considered. Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is considered a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational, planning, and prioritization skills. Excellent command of the English language.
