Scent: We create fragrance solutions used in products around the world. The role is based in Midrand, South Africa and is an on-site position. You will be part of the Production Operations team, working with production, material flow, warehouse activities, and dispatch processes to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant site operations. Where You’ll Make a Difference Coordinate daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. Execute production schedules and adjust priorities to meet operational and customer requirements. Monitor production performance and address operational issues when needed. Oversee material receipt, storage, staging, issuing, movement, and dispatch activities. Ensure production materials are available when required for site operations. Maintain inventory accuracy through stock control practices, cycle counts, physical inventory activities, and ERP system transactions. Coordinate material flow between warehouse and production areas. Ensure warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, handling, and dispatch, are completed according to site requirements. Maintain compliance with quality standards, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), safety procedures, and material traceability requirements. What Makes You the Right Fit Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience coordinating production, warehouse, inventory, or material handling activities.
Experience
working with frontline operational teams. Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, warehouse operations, and material handling processes.
Experience
using SAP or a comparable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is preferred. Good planning, organization, communication, and issue-resolution skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, quality, and compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and operational systems. How Would You Stand Out?
Experience
in a start-up, expansion, or greenfield manufacturing environment. Familiarity with safety, quality, and continuous improvement programs in manufacturing operations.
