Project Engineer (Lead or Senior) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense Space & Security has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer (Lead or Senior) to join us as part of the P-8 program supporting the Systems Engineering organization located in Richardson, TX. The Project Engineer will support the SEIT leadership team in developing, tracking and executing efforts across the program portfolio. He/She will also support the Senior SEIT manager in management and oversight of new business efforts and initiatives. The Sr. Project Engineer will have the opportunity to interface directly with senior leadership and will make an impact at a program level. Responsibilities
Lead complex projects from kick-off to completion. Lead, plan, identify and coordinate multiple skilled resources required over the life of the project Break statement of work down into executable tasks Compare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiency, productivity, lessons learned and performance metrics. Interpret, analyze and organize complex technical problems, concepts and solutions across multiple disciplines and levels of management Identify and capture changes to statement of work. Identify corrective actions to improve project or team performance. Exhibit excellent technical, written and verbal communication skills. This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
