Logistics Manager, Ballabgarh
Job description
As a Logistics Manager, you will own end-to-end logistics and plant warehousing operations. You will ensure alignment with EBIT targets, safety standards, compliance requirements, inventory quality, and customer service objectives. You will manage transporters, 3PL warehouse partners, and inventory flow across the supply chain. You will drive cost optimization initiatives, process improvements, and productivity enhancements to improve operational efficiency. Key
Responsibilities
1. Logistics & Dispatch Management (30%) You will plan daily truck placement based on sales forecasts. You will ensure on-time delivery of finished goods (FG). You will enforce SOPs related to loading/unloading, safety, and quality. 2. Warehouse & 3PL Management (30%) You will oversee finished goods warehouse operations through 3PL partners. You will drive warehouse hygiene and ensure process discipline. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations. 3. Team Capability & Safety (20%) You will train and develop warehouse staff. You will foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance awareness. You will ensure smooth day-to-day operational execution. 4. MIS, Cost & Reporting (10%) You will monitor and track dispatch costs and provisions. You will generate and present periodic MIS reports. 5. Inventory & Planning (10%) You will ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and FIFO practices. You will support inventory planning aligned with customer requirements. You will lead cost-saving and productivity improvement initiatives. You will manage approximately 1.7 million tires FG volume annually. You will be responsible for end-to-end plant logistics operations (Ballabgarh). '

Education
You hold a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or a related field. You have an MBA or equivalent advanced qualification (Preferred)
Experience
& Key Skills You bring 10+ years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations. You have experience working in mid to large-scale organizations. You possess strong knowledge of SAP, Excel, and supply chain systems. You have expertise in warehouse and transportation management. You demonstrate strong leadership, decision-making, and collaboration skills. You have a data-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Experience
