United Plaza XII Pay Grade: Professional Job Description: The Sr Salesforce Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating Agile delivery processes and supporting the successful execution of Salesforce and enterprise technology initiatives for LSU OCE. This role serves as a servant leader for Agile teams, ensuring Scrum best practices are followed while helping teams deliver high-quality solutions efficiently and transparently. The Scrum Master works closely with Salesforce Business Analysts, developers, product owners, and stakeholders to coordinate priorities, manage project execution, and remove obstacles that impact delivery. In addition to core Scrum responsibilities, this role supports project management activities, cross-functional communication, sprint planning and reporting, and administration of Jira to ensure accurate tracking, visibility, and governance across initiatives. The position plays a key role in driving collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational effectiveness within the technology organization.
Job Responsibilities
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team execution and continuous improvement. 25% Partner closely with Salesforce Business Analysts, developers, and stakeholders to coordinate priorities, clarify requirements, and support successful delivery of business solutions. 25% Track project progress, manage timelines, identify risks and dependencies, and provide clear status reporting to leadership and stakeholders. 15% Remove impediments and proactively address issues impacting team productivity, sprint commitments, or project delivery. 15% Administer and maintain Jira workflows, boards, dashboards, reporting, permissions, and Agile project configurations to support transparency and operational efficiency. 10% Promote Agile best practices, team collaboration, accountability, and continuous process improvement across the organization. 5% Other duties as assigned 5% Minimum
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 years of experience Specific
