Rotunda Pay Grade: Academic Job Description: JOB SUMMARY: The adjunct instructor will teach undergraduate courses in the Departments of Accounting and General Business and organize 2 programs (or study abroad trips) per academic year. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience and relevant professional licenses and/or certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CISA, CIA), and relevant accounting experience in industry or public accounting. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 50% - Teach undergraduate courses in Departments of Accounting and General Business (ACCT 4800 and GBUS 4991 per semester). Organize/attend two (2) study abroad programs per academic year. 50% - Provide general advising to students who are interested in participating in study abroad programs and to students pursuing a minor in International Business. Provide support for faculty and students who are planning for the study abroad program. Coordinate course creation and schedule for programs, including recommendations for adjustment to the current program portfolio. Serve as the College of Business liaison on university committees and chair the Globalization Committee. Promote study abroad opportunities to students. Monthly on campus meetings will be required throughout the academic year. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
