A Day in the Life We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to develop next-generation software for a Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS) platform. The engineer will contribute to the design and implementation of real-time software systems involving robotics, motion control, surgical visualization, 3D graphics, GPU acceleration, navigation, and medical imaging. This role requires strong expertise in modern C++, control systems, computer graphics, OpenGL, and high-performance computing, along with the ability to work in a regulated medical device environment. The engineer will collaborate with robotics, system engineering, clinical, and quality teams to develop safe, reliable, and performant surgical solutions.

Strong design and development experience C++ (any version) 14/17 (preferred), WPF/MVVM, OpenGL,CUDA & GPU programming. 8-10 years of experience design and development scalable enterprise solutions. 3+ years of experience in customer-facing products B.E/BTech.in Computer Science, IT, E&CE Engineering Strong Object-Oriented Design and development experience, is required. Good understanding of multithreading in both, design and implementation

Experience

with projects that require hardware /software interfacing Familiarity with Ubuntu/Linux, Windows OS Medical instruments development experiences a plus

Experience

with a documented software development processes or familiarity with FDA and ISO standards like IEC 62304 is a plus Good communication skills and Good team player Knowledge of DevOps CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, CodeDeploy, CircleCI, Jenkins/Travis etc.) Knowledge on application security and secure design practices is a must Ability to advocate and implement best practices and standard solutions

Experience

in control systems, robotics will be preferred. Nice to Haves Strong systems design experience, having scaled algorithmic & ML solutions in products. C# experience Previous Medical Device domain experience.
