Consultant - P&O Operations
Job description
Interested in a career that matters? Key Accountabilities: First point P&O contact for their assigned site. Responsible for front end support for site employees and managers with HR needs, requests and projects, and routing more specific requests to the appropriate division HR Business Partner and/or P&O global Function as necessary. Serve as a trusted advisor by ensuring that P&O systems and processes are easy to access and navigate for employees Provides guidance to client groups to plan effective on-boarding and in-boarding for new and transferring employees. Plans and conducts new employee orientation. Responsible for delightful experience for new employees through forums like local New Employee Day, onboarding support etc. Ensures smooth off boarding experience for exiting employees Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to managers at assigned site (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary, performance improvement actions). Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. Provide ideas and participate in initiatives to harmonize, globalize and digitalize Deliver high-quality HR services in line with globally aligned service standards Champion HR digitalization journey in the P&O offerings to the business Key behaviours: Ability to make decisions and exhibit sound and accurate judgment to make timely decisions Ability to handle changing priorities Must be able to embrace a sense of urgency, innovation and resourcefulness Clear communication skills, capable of clearly conveying HR policies, procedures, and recommendations to diverse stakeholders, including management and employees. This includes active listening, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Minimum requirements: MBA in Human resources 2 – 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a generalist or HR business support role.
