Partner with the best The compilation, management and completion of project documentation for customer orders while maintaining a complete history of document revisions and supporting Project Engineering, Project Management and Supply Chain functions As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for: Reviewing documentation specifications and extract documents applicable to the order Importing templates into the documentation management software and maintain revisions to defined standards. Liaising and resolve any complex punch list queries from third-party inspectors relative to documentation. Driving a continuous improvement methodology, identify and drive defective documentation with corrective and preventive actions. Maintaining familiarity with product portfolio to provide accurate documentation. Challenging and supporting as appropriate where best practice is identified and/or implemented. Capturing all required information for the execution of project documentation – Templates, language, indexes, hard copy requirements etc. Managing translation requirements and schedule to meet order schedules. Ongoing liaising with the customer and the Project Engineer, managing submittals, returns and amendments through system as per agreed schedule. Sourcing and preparing material certification for all certified products as per traceability provide by production. Supporting the Project Manager with order documentation queries and supply updates and documents as required. Liaising with shipping team to provide documentation packages. Participating in customer and internal project meetings as required. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have experience within Documentation teams previously Have previous Experience with SAP ERP System or similar alternative systems. Have experience in a manufacturing / project environment or a dynamic industrial role. Have the ability to interface and communicate effectively with all levels of employees, management and diverse audiences. Have attention to detail, excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and good personal organization skills. Be proficient in software applications MS Word, Adobe Reader/ Nitro Pro, Excel is essential. Be a good team player and display good communication skills.
